Mark Zuckerberg’s social media company, Meta Platforms Inc. has Incorporated a new feature on WhatsApp that enables users to edit messages sent within a limited time of 15 minutes.
The Company unveiled this new development in a blog post that was made to alert the users. However, Zuckerberg also included this feature on Facebook on Monday.
“For the moments when you make a mistake or simply change your mind, you can now edit your sent messages on WhatsApp,” Meta said.
“We’re excited that you’ll now have more control over your chats, such as correcting misspellings or adding more context to a message.
“For this, within 15 minutes of sending the message, you have to tap and hold that message for a while and then select the option of ‘Edit’ from the menu.”
Meta stated that the feature is already being made available to users and will be activated for everyone in a few weeks.
