Guidelines on How to Pay UNN Acceptance Fee [UPDATED & SIMPLIFIED]

This is to inform all the newly admitted students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), that the management of the institution has released the amount to be paid as an acceptance fee and the payment procedure for the 2023–2024 academic session for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates.

The UNN acceptance fee is the amount of money that you pay to the University of Nigeria to accept your admission.

So, in this post, I will be explaining everything you need to know about how to pay your acceptance fee at UNN so as to avoid any mistakes during the payment.

To pay the UNN acceptance fee, all you need to do is;

• Open your internet browser on your smartphone

  Simply open up your internet browser, e.g., Google Chrome, on your smartphone.

• Visit the UNN student portal via: unnportal.unn.edu.ng

• Click on “undergraduate students

  Click on the undergraduate students link on the navigation
• Enter your Jamb registration number and your PUTME application RRR

  Provide your jamb details (reg number & PUTME RRR Number)

• Get login details.

  When you are done your login detail will be sent you.

• Go to 2 above.

  
  Kindly visit the UNN student portal.
• Enter the login details from step 5 above.

  Using the login details you have obtained from step 5 above.

• Login to the portal.

  After providing your login detail click on login to access your dashboard.

• Change Password.

  If you’re logged in successfully you will have to change you password to a one you can easily remember.
  
• Complete student profile.

• Print out the student biodata page.

  After filling your details on the form, ensure to print it out because it will be needed for your clearance.

• Refresh the window and click on acceptance fees.
• Generate an acceptance fee invoice.

• Proceed to make payments online (using an ATM) or at any bank of your choice.

  Using the invoice generated, you can pay using an ATM card or in any of your preferred bank.

• Come back to Acceptance Fees.
• Click Pay acceptance fee.

  Navigate to acceptance fee page by clicking on the acceptance link on the navigation bar.

• Enter the RRR and proceed to generate an acceptance letter duly signed (e-signature).

  Enter the RRR number on your bank confirmation slip (which corresponds to the RRR number on the invoice you created) in the “Remita Retrieval Reference” column, as shown above, using the same steps as the “School Fees Payment Procedure“. The “Submit” button must be clicked for your acceptance fee receipt to appear.

• Print out the receipt.

  Finally, print out the acceptance fee receipt for it is among the required documents for new student clearance in UNN.
