UNN Dean of Students Affairs releases vital info on unauthorized activities in the school.

Prof. Edwin O. Omeje, the Dean of Students Affairs, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has released a memo on the issue of unauthorized social activities and events in the school.

In the memo released by the Dean of Students Affairs, he reminded the students of the rules and regulations that guide the institution, among them that students are not permitted to be involved in any unauthorized events or social activities while in school.

The University is a body governed by regulations and extant laws which must be obeyed. As part of these laws and regulations, students of the University must not embark on any unauthorized activity while in school. It is on record that several communications on this matter have previously been sent out to the University Community”.

“Recently, it has been observed that student’s engagement in social activities/events without due authorization is on the increase This will not be allowed to continue”.

Further, he also stated that any activity that will be held in the school must be authorized by the appropriate units.

“Consequently, I remind you that students are not permitted to carry out any social activity/event without authorization from the appropriate units”.
